With a strong supporting cast that featured Philip Seymour Hoffman and the returning Ving Rhames, it's a shame the script failed to utilise their full potential. But, Mission: Impossible III still manages to tick all the boxes when it comes to high octane action flicks. When it wants to be, it's relentless in pace and adrenaline. However, it can be guilty of pushing silly, but generally speaking, Mission: Impossible III is much more focussed on its heroes heart rather than chucking us head first into a series of pulsating action sequences — which is an improvement on the second instalment that was merely an exhibition to put Cruise over.
