7. Steve Carrell

For every $1 he was paid, the film made on average $10

Steve Carrell's last three films have been a little rocky to say the least. Non where hugely pushed before release and box office results suggest that.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World failed to make a return on it's very small $10million budget and the same can be said for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone which couldn't make back it's $30million investment. Having said that, Hope Springs was a success at the box office and is a sleeper in Carrell's filmography.

Although he's had a few ups and downs as of late, I'm sure he won't be on next years list as he's surely going to be making big returns for his investors with 2013 releases Despicable Me 2 and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Last Three Films;
Seeking A Friend for the End Of The World (2012) - Budget $10million returning $9million
Hope Springs (2012) - Budget $30million returning $114million
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) - Budget $30million returning $27million
