A Scanner Darkly
This intelligent and disorienting film is one of those movies that was always destined to fall in the category of "cult" with it's subject matter and visual aesthetics never going to appeal to a wide audience. But that takes nothing away from the achievements of director Richard Linklater. A Scanner Darkly is a film that is unnerving and strange yet an eye-bending animated film.
