'Booster Gold' FIlm Won't Be a Part of the DCEU
Greg Berlanti, the producing giant of the CW's DC comics line, is set to bring Booster Gold to the big screen. For those who don't know, Booster Gold is a DC Comics superhero who can jump through time and uses knowledge and advance technology to perform his own heroic stunts.
But no one thinks this will make a good fit for the newly established DCEU, it seems, as Berlanti has revealed to Vulture that the film, which he's co-writing with X-Men: First Class scribe Zack Stentz, is not being considered for the extended universe of Superman, Batman and co.
“As of right now we have no connective tissue to those worlds. It’d be a separate thing.” Originally, the idea was intended for the small screen, but that fell through. DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns then helped get a big screen vision off the ground.
