Brenton Thwaites of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Fame to Star in 'Ghosts of War'
Brenton Thwaites will next be seen in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and his next project is already lined up. He's set to star in thriller Ghosts of War, which will be directed by The Butterfly Effect and The Final Destination's Eric Bress, who also penned the script.
The film will follow five battle-hardened soldiers assigned to hold a French chateau near the end of World War II. The spot was formerly occupied by Nazi high command, and things descend into madness as a supernatural enemy manifests that's far more frightening than anything seen on the battlefield.
Thwaites will play the strategist and leader of the group, a character who is suffering from battle fatigue. Recently, he also shot Interview With God and Office Uprising.
