Distributors Circling Quentin Tarantino 21 Years Documentary
Tara Wood's feature-length Quentin Tarantino documentary 21 Years is getting some attention from various distributors. The Weinstein Co, Netflix and Amazon are said to be circling the property.
The documentary features interviews with various collaborators of Tarantino's, from Samuel L Jackson and Jamie Foxx to Michael Madsen and Eli Roth. The offers are reportedly in the six figures, eyeing global rights.
The Weinstein Company have produced and financed all of Tarantino's films, which would make it a fitting home for the doc.
The documentary is a tribute in the same vein as the Richard Linklater documentary of a few years ago, focusing on the highs and occasional lows of a career through the eyes of friends and collaborators.
It will explore his storytelling techniques, as well as his use of violence and assortment of other controversial elements.
