'Person of Interest' and 'Westworld' Creator Jonathan Nolan Inks New Deal for WBTV
Creator of Person of Interest and co-creator of Westworld Jonathan Nolan has signed an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, the studio that is behind both aforementioned series.
The new deal is said to be a rich one, solidifying Nolan's place as one of the top showrunners in the industry at the moment. The screenwriter made his first foray into TV with Person of Interest, which ran five seasons before its abrupt end.
Westworld makes it two from two in pilot efforts for Nolan, having been co-created with Lisa Joy. Joy also sits under an overall deal at WBTV. Prior to his TV efforts, Nolan co-wrote Interstellar, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, The Prestige, and Memento with his brother Christopher. Not a bad resume.
