Regina King Joins Netflix Series 'Seven Seconds'
Regina King has signed on for Netflix's Ten-episode crime drama series Seven Seconds, which is written by Sud and is based off of the 2013 Russian Action film The Major.
It details the tensions that run between African and American citizens and Caucasian officers in Jersey, where a teenage African American boy is critically injured by a policeman.
King plays Latrice Butler, a churchgoer and choir leader, a wife and mother to a 15 year-old boy, whose family becomes first time home-owners before learning that her son has been involved in an accident.
King is currently involved in ABC's American Crime's third season, as well as HBO''s The Leftovers.
