'Sicario' Writer Taylor Sheridan to Pen French Remake 'Disorder'
Sicario and Hell or High Water scribe Taylor Sheridan has been given the assignment of remaking 2015 French drama Disorder for Sony Pictures.
The original film followed an ex-soldier with PTSD who is hired to protect the wife and child of a wealthy Lebanese businessman while he's out of town. The soldier perceives an external threat even in the tranquility of Maryland.
Sheridan is currently in the process of writing the Sicario sequel, Soldado, which has Stefano Sollima taking over directing duties from Dennis Villeneveuve and will star Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin.
