Emma Watson on Michelle Williams, Lucy and My Week With Marilyn
Emma Watson talks about playing Lucy in My Week with Marilyn.
When she got the script, she immediately liked it. "It was just such a pageturner. I couldn't put it down. I so wanted to know what happened." She doesn't understand why nobody made a movie about Marilyn Monroe earlier.
About her character Lucy, she says: "Colin really meets his match in her. She's not easily fooled. And unfortunately she gets her heart broken. But she certainly does a good job of trying to keep his distance from her if this is what he's going to do."
On Michelle Williams: "I was amazed at how much I saw of Marilyn and her. Until I got on set, I was like, now I really get it. I really, really get it. She's perfect for Marilyn."
Emma Watson also talks about the best moments in the film. She says the story is great. And Eddie Redmayne and Michelle Williams work really well together.
