'X-Men: Apocalypse' Breakout Lana Condor Cast in 'Alita: Battle Angel'
Lana Condor will follow her film debut as Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse with a role in James Cameron's Alita: Battle Angel, joining a cast consisting of Rosa Salazar, Jackie Earle Haley, Eiza Gonzalez and Christoph Waltz.
Robert Rordriguez will direct the film from a script by Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis, which itself is based on the manga series by Yukito Kishiro.
The story follows an amnesiac cyborg rescued from a scrap heap and turned bounty hunter tracking down criminals. It is slated for July 20, 2018.
