Adam McKay on Scripting Ant-Man Sequel: "that would certainly be fun"
Asked if he would be interested in writing the Ant-Man sequel, screenwriter Adam McKay said that it would certainly be fun, and that he "loved working with Marvel".
After Edgar Wright dropped out of Ant-Man as writer and director, Peyton Reed came in to replace him. Coming after that, Adam McKay (Anchorman) helped rework the script along with actor Paul Rudd.
Despite that, he did say that he's already working on a couple of projects at the moment."One of them is more dramatic, one's more comedy, still with a little bit of political teeth to it. And there's a TV show idea I've been kicking around."
The sequel to Ant-Man, titled Ant-Man and the Wasp, is slated for a July 6, 2018 release.
