'Agent Carter' Star Hayley Atwell Casts her Vote for a Series Revival
ABC has cancelled Agent Carter, and the response has been vocal. Fans are desperately hoping the series gets picked up elsewhere, and Amazon and Netflix are often at the fore of the conversation.
During MegaCon, Hayley Atwell, who plays Peggy Carter in the series and in the MCU, was asked questions regarding the show's possible future. She was particularly asked regarding a direction she'd like to have seen beyond season 2.
"Yeah, there was talk of season three going further back into the past, um, so the showrunners were talking about a possible kind of twist I suppose, into something to do with family." She also added: They suggested there would be more to do with my brother."
When asked about the petitions online and whether she'd be open to spending more time on the show, she gave a resounding yes.
"Yeah, 100%. Absolutely. Yeah, I love Peggy, I love the people that are working on this project together, the fans are incredibly warm and welcoming and it would be an absolute privilege and an honor to bring her back for the fans."
