'Alien: Covenant' Wraps Filming
Principal photography is now complete on Ridley Scott's new Alien film. The Prometheus follow-up, Alien: Covenant, has marked the occasion with a new behind the scenes image of Scott and Katherine Waterston.
The film is described as the second chapter in the prequel trilogy, and connects directly to Scott's 1979 original Alien film. It follows the colony of Covenant as they discover what they believe to be an uncharted paradise occupied solely by Michael Fassbender's character, David.
Noomi Rapace will return for her role, though to what extent we're unsure. There's a good chance it's simply a cameo to flash back to the character's fate, but we won't know for sure for some time.
The film opens August 4, 2017.
