All Eight 'Harry Potter' Films are Headed Back to Theaters for One Week
IMAX and Warner Bros. are teaming up to see the Harry Potter franchise return to screens from October 13, presumably to ramp up anticipation for the series' revival in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which arrives November 18.
The event will see Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets arrive on IMAX screens for the first time ever. The October 13 launch will also feature a global fan event that will celebrate the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts, including never-before-seen features and in-person appearances by stars at two locations (LA and London).
As one of the most beloved film franchises ever, the series has grossed about $216 million at IMAX theaters alone worldwide, and earned over $7.7 billion.
