'American Gods' and 'Ash vs. Evil Dead' to Headline for Starz at Comic-Con
Comic-con news continues to pour out for just who will be attending in July, and coming fresh off its acquisition by Lionsgate (at a $4.4 million payout), Starz will be appearing at Comic-Con with two relatively fresh properties, if both possessing deep history.
American Gods, the Neil Gaiman adaptation set for a 2017 premiere, and Ash vs. Evil Dead will be at the convention center on SDCC weekend.
American Gods will be in making its debut in Room 6BCF on July 22 at 3:15 PM. Gaiman himself will be there, along with showrunner Bryan Fuller, and stars Ian McShane and Ricky Whittle, among other cast. Footage is rumoured for the convention, though no word on whether this will be a full-length trailer or a simple teaser (my bet's on the latter).
Ash vs. Evil Dead will feature Bruce Campbell along with Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, Ted Raimi and Michelle Hurd for a panel at 6.45 PM on July 23.
