Angela Bassett to Play a Key Role in Marvel's 'Black Panther'
Angela Bassett has seen her rise to fame in recent years through American Horror Story, and has now been cast as T'Challa's mother, Romonda, in Marvel's Black Panther. It adds to what's become one of the most stellar and talked about casts in recent memory.
She joins Chadwick Boseman in the title role, as ell as Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Winston Duke, Forest Whitaker, DanieL Kaluuya, Florence Kasumba and Danai Gurira.
The film is expected to begin production early 2017, but not much is known about what the story will be about. It hits theaters February 16, 2018.
