Angelina Jolie in Talks for War Drama 'Shoot Like a Girl'
Angelina Jolie is in early negotiations for a starring role in Afghanistan war drama Shoot Like a Girl, based on the upcoming memoir which tells the true story of Major Mary Jennings Hagar.
Hagar served multiple tours in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot, and saved hundreds of men and women on and off the battlefield in the Middle East. She later helped eliminate the military's Ground Combat Exclusion Policy, allowing female officers to serve in combat roles.
Jolie's latest works have been Disney's Maleficent, which is developing a sequel, and the 2015 drama By the Sea with Brad Pitt.
