'Ant-Man and the Wasp' Is Another Exciting Team-up Film Coming Out of the MCU
Marvel looks to continue their incredible success with Ant-Man and the Wasp. After seeing Avengers: Infinity War you may be wondering where the pint size hero went? The trailer doesn't give us any concrete answers.
Paul Rudd returns as Ant-Man, and Evageline Lilly finally makes her debut as Wasp. Michael Douglas and Michael Peña return as Hank Pym and Luis. The film also introduces MCU newcomers in Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, the original Wasp and wife of Hank Pym, and Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster/Goliath.
In the trailer we get to witness Ant-Man and Wasp fighting together. We are also introduced to the new villain Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen. The white hooded bad guy arrived from the Quantum Realm with the ability to phase through walls, objects, and people. Ghost, in the comics was a foe to Iron Man. Later on Ghost would be a member of the Thunderbolts.
Ant-Man and the Wasp could possibly explaining how Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne get involve with the Avengers before Avengers 4. Ant-Man and the Wasp is connected to Infinity War more then Captain Marvel. So that is something helpful to keep in mind.
I am thrilled to see the debut of Goliath. This should be an incredible follow up to Ant-Man.
Ant-Man and the Wasp arrive in theaters on July 6.
