'Aquaman' Gains New Writer
Warner Bros. big-screen solo venture into the depth of the Aquaman world has attained David Leslie Johnson for writing duties.
It is as yet unclear how far Johnson's involvement extends, given that the project was being developed with writers Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad penning separate scripts.
Sources vary, one saying that Johnson will be a third hand to pen an original script, while another said that Johnson is working with director James Wan to streamline the project.
Johnson is a regular go-to writer for Warner Bros., after working on both Wrath of the Titans and Red Riding Hood.
As for Aquaman, we'll first see him in some capacity in next year's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, played by Jason Momoa. What little we know so far suggests a much different iteration to his comic book counterpart.
