Aquaman's Queen Officially Cast for 'Justice League Part One'
Recent rumours had Amber Heard in the role of Mera, Queen of Atlantis. Now, it has been confirmed that Heard will indeed sit on a throne beside Jason Momoa's Aquaman in next year's Justice League.
Via ET Online, the character will make her debut next year before appearing in Aquaman's solo 2018 film. Heard gave a basic description of her costume for the upcoming role.
"It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armor, half scales. It's strange... We're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."
Often, the character appears in a green body suit in modern comics, with a scale-like appearance. She is described as the "eventual" queen of Atlantis, so perhaps the forming relationship will be an important aspect to Justice League: Part One.
