Assassin's Creed Sequel Already Moving Forward, Fassbender On Board
Via The Tracking Board, a sequel to Assassin's Creed is already swirling at Ubisoft Motion Pictures, with star and Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender ready and rearing to go for a second round.
The source reports that "The sequel sees familiar names from the yet-to-be-released title's production team, with Jean-Julien Baronnet producing for Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Frank Marshall producing through his Kennedy-Marshall Company, while Fassbender and Conor McCaughan will produce through their DMC Films shingle. Matt Phelps will oversee for Ubisoft, while Pam Abdy will oveersee for New Regency."
In the film, Callum Lynch discovers through genetic unlocking of his ancestral line that he is descended from a mysterious secret society, and discovers knowledge and skills to prepare him for a power struggle against the oppressive Templar organisation.
The film opens on December 21st this year.
