Augmented Reality Comic Book Series 'Faster Than Light' Headed to TV
Skydance Television is in the process of developing Fast Than Light, a TV series based on the best-selling augmented reality comic book series.
The comic was created by Brian Haberlin, who chronicles the present-day initial journey that humanity makes to the stars, which is both thrilling and terrifying. The series features an augmented reality app created by the creator's Anomaly Productions, which allows readers to turn pages into realistic 3D animations.
"The exhilarating sci-fi universe that Brian Haberlin has created in Faster Than Light features a living, breathing narrative that we believe is very well suited for television audiences and is precisely the kind of big, bold story we love to tell at Skydance," said Skydance Television president Marcy Ross.
“I’m incredibly excited to be working with a creative group as innovative and imaginative as the team at Skydance Television,” added Haberlin. “They have already done such great things and I know they’ve only just begun to scratch the surface … I can’t wait to dive in with them on Faster Than Light!”
