'Avatar 2' 2018 Release Date is Not Realistic, Says Sigourney Weaver
Avatar 2 has a 2018 release date. Fox penciled it in for an end-of-year slot, though this apparently doesn't guarantee anything at all.
December 21st, 2018 is the date set for a James Cameron-produced project to arrive, with plans to put each Avatar sequel out two years apart right up until 2022, with Avatar 3, and Avatar 5 a year later.
Sigourney Weaver has been asked about that release date, and she's not convinced. “We haven’t started it, so I don’t know how realistic that date is, but I think it’s going to be very exciting,” she told THR.
Earlier, Weaver has said that the scripts she's read have been impressive, and has been vocal about her excitement about the projects going forward.
