Banshee Final Season.
It's safe to say that most TV series would strive for longer air time. But for all its high ratings and strong fan base, Banshee's creators Jonathan Tropper and Greg Yaitanes have decided that the 4th season will be its last. And though it's only running for 4 seasons, the first three have already made a busy, violent, edge-of-your-seat, action-packed series.
For this final chapter, Sheriff Hood is in search of his friend Job, aided by Carrie and Sugar. There is continuing animosity between Hood and Kai Proctor. And the FBI has finally descended on Banshee to investigate the town's troubles.
Eliza Dushku (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) joins the cast as an FBI agent in this season. The regulars are Anthony Starr as Lucas Hood, Ivana Milicevic as Carrie Hopewell and Ulrich Thomsen as the ruthless Kai Proctor. Hoon Lee, Matt Servito, Frankie Faison and Matthew Rauch will also return. Last but not least is Tom Pelphrey, who joined the series in season 3 and turned in a strong performance as Kurt Bunker, a deputy with a Neo-Nazi past that he desperately wants to forget.
Cinemax has recently released the first trailer.
The 8-episode 4th season of Banshee will air on January 29, 2016
