'Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders' Gets a World Premiere Set for NYCC

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell It seems as though DC and Warner Bros. Animation always have a new film in the works, which is good when their most recent project, like, for instance, The Killing Joke, meets negative reception. It means they can pretty succinctly put it behind them.

With Adam West and Burt Ward back in the roles that defined their careers back in the 60s, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders has its world premiere set for New York Comic-Con on Thursday, October 6 at 5:30 at the Main Stage of the Javits Center.

The panel on hand will include West, as well as director Rick Morales, and screenwriters Michael Jelenic and James Tucker, who also serve as producers.

The 60s Batman world has been back in the world of comics for some time now, with the popular digital series Batman '66, spawning several spin-off crossovers. The film is out digitally on Octoer 11 and will reach shelves on November 1, 2016.
