'Batman: The Killing Joke' Earned Over $3 Million On its Monday Night Screenings
Batman: The Killing Joke spent two nights in theaters, and the R-rated picture did pretty well for itself on night one.
The animated film took $3 million on its opening night on Monday, taking third place at the domestic box office for the day behind Star Trek Beyond and The Secret Life of Pets.
The film drew a tally of $2,396 for each theater it premiered in, for a total haul of $3.175. The film hits shelves on August 2 and is available now on Digital HD.
