'Beauty and the Beast' 25th Anniversary Edition Announced
While next year sees Beauty and the Beast hit theaters in live-action glory, the original animated version is a prized release for Disney, and to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year a new edition will hit shelves in September.
As part of Disney's Signature Series, the release will come with some new special features. It will be available in Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on September 6, while Blu Ray and DVD releases will be available from September 20.
The original theatrical release as well as the 'Human Again Branched Version,' a sing-along version, are included in the package, as well as a slew of additional footage and features, one of which is a sneak peak at the live-action film.
