Ben Affleck has Written a Batman Solo Script
Unanimous praise has been heaped on Ben Affleck's Batman/Bruce Wayne, and there's no doubt Warner Bros. will want to capitalize on it.
It has become almost common knowledge that directing duties on a solo Batman film is something Affleck has long mulled over, but it's now become apparent that he has in fact penned a script for the feature.
“He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape,” William Morris Endeavor co-CEO Patrick Whitesell said in an interview with THR.
“There’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”
With a writing Oscar for Good Will Hunting, not to mention 2012 Best Picture Argo under his belt, Affleck at the head of his own Bat-pic doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. He's completed production on Live by Night, his latest directorial effort set in the prohibition era.
