Probably one of the easiest categories to predict. Best Actress this year will no doubt be between three big stars. Cate Blanchett is the favourite to pick up the award, but never rule out Sandra Bullock, who has a lot of friends in high places in Hollywood. Emma Thompson may well finish third in this race, but her legacy will stand her in good stead.
