Best Picture: If They Fill The Allotted 10 Places

Since 2010, the Academy have the option of naming a minimum of 5 Best Picture nominations and a maximum of 10 — if they see fit. Considering this year is a strong year for film, Captain Phillips and Dallas Buyers Club could well nab the remaining two spots. If they do receive a nod, I wouldn't bet on them doing anything in this category come the big night.
