Coming off two Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominations in two consecutive years must make Bradley Cooper feel pretty good right now. He's beginning to prove to his doubters that he is more than just a pretty face.
The last 24 months have been career changing for Cooper. Coming off the heels of the hugely popular Hangover franchise, Cooper was ready to venture into new realms. He played Pat in David O. Russell's charming Silver Linings Playbook, which earned him his first Oscar nomination. Then followed it up the following year, in David O. Russell's next film, American Hustle. He played wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso to yet another Oscar nominated performance.
Although he was unsuccessful in picking the gong for both of his Oscar nods, Cooper is in a rich vein of form, and is developing into a very consistent performer.
