Bruce Willis Bringing 'Death Wish' Remake to the Big Screen
After several years of names jumping in and out of the project, Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures and MGM's Death Wish has a pulse with Bruce Willis now openly interested in a role.
The film has also found two directors, Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, the Israeli filmmakers behind festival favourite Big Bad Wolves. The remake would be based on the 1974 original starring Charles Brosnon, which is in turn based on the 1972 novel.
The original script written by Carnahan (who left the project) is being rewritten by Dan Gilroy and Graham Yost, and is said to be keeping a close eye on the source material.
