Bryan Cranston To Produce and Appear in 'Electric Dreams: The World of Phillip K. Dick'
When it comes to science fiction, Phillip K. Dick is perhaps one of the most prolific and prominent writers. His books have been adapted into film and TV series such as 'The Man in the High Castle', 'Total Recall', 'Minority Report' and is an inspiration for Blade Runner. And now Bryan Cranston, in collaboration with Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) will executive produce a 10-part anthology series titled 'Electric Dreams: The World of Phillip K. Dick'. Cranston will also make an appearance in one episode.
The series will be based on Dick's short stories and each episode will be a standalone story. Moore will also pen the script along with Michael Dinner (Justified, Masters of Sex) and a team of British and American writers.
'This is an electric dream come true" said Cranston "We are so thrilled to be able to explore and expand upon the evergreen themes found in the incredible work of this literary master"
No premiere date has been announced yet but the series will air in the UK via Channel 4 and internationally through Sony Pictures.
