Cameron Cuffe Cast as Superman's Grandfather in 'Krypton'
Syfy has ordered the pilot, and David S. Goyer's Superman prequel series is continuing to add members to its cast. The latest is Cameron Cuffe, an up-and-coming British actor, who is set to play Superman's grandfather in the series.
Krypton takes place two decades prior to Clark Kent's departure from a doomed Krypton. Cuffe, born in London, recently appeared in Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant’s “Florence Foster Jenkins,” and has a recurring role on ITV’s upcoming drama “The Halcyon.”
David S. Goyer is the screenwriter of “Batman Begins,” “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." He co-wrote the pilot with Ian Goldberg.
