'Captain America: Civil War' Becomes the First Film of 2016 to Pass $400M Domestic
After 43 days in theaters, Captain America: Civil War has become the first film of the year to edge past $400 million at the domestic box office, which is no small effort in a big year (particularly for Disney).
Deadpool finished up with $363M, The Jungle Book with $354M, Zootopia ($338.5M, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with $330.3M.
In 2015, three films landed over $400M on U.S. shores: Avengers: Age of Ultron ($459M), Jurassic World ($652M), and record holder Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($936.7 M).
