Captain America: Civil War is projected for more than $190 Million Domestic Box Office opening
Captain America: Civil War arrives in ten days in the U.S., and the film is officially projected to take in more than $190 million in its opening weekend.
This projection pits it lower than The Avengers ($207.4 million) and Age of Ultron ($191.3 million), which sit third and fourth highest respectively for all time domestic opening weekends.
The film has received rave reviews so far, and it wouldn't be surprising to see it go beyond the predicted numbers. The film sees Iron Man and Captain America himself pitted against one another with conflicting ideals toward the existence of superheroes operating outside of government control.
