Captain America: Civil War makes it $84 million in 3 days Internationally
Three days after launching in 38 international markets, and Captain America: Civil War has earned a massive $84 million, finishing in first place in all territories.
The opening is on par with Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Ultron eventually earned $946 million overseas. The film launched in Mexico on Friday with a record $7.3 million, beating out Ultron.
The U.K. saw $7 million on opening day, which is 33% ahead of the most recent Avengers flick, while Japan opened with $2.8 million.
63% of the market is now playing Captain America: Civil War, and pre-release tracking suggested the film could pull $200 million after its opening five days.
