Captain America: Civil War - More Black Panther Details Revealed
Captain America: Civil War is set to introduce Black Panther, also known as T'Challa. Seen fighting on Iron Man's side in previews and concept art, actor Chadwick Boseman has given some more information on what his role in the film looks like.
Speaking with Empire, Boseman suggested that he shouldn't be seen as a regular superhero despite the costume. Instead, expect him to jump into the fray for the purpose of calming things down. "[He's] not on anybody's team. It's my political mission to tame it and get it under control."
Civil War will see superheroes forced to operate under a governing body, which will divide the team straight down the middle. Black Panther, then, should not be considered one of Iron Man's supporters, but rather an act of mutual interest.
Civil War arrives May 6, followed by Black Panther's solo film Feb 16, 2019.
