Cliff Martinez No Longer Attached to 'Logan,' Music to be Composed by Marco Beltrami
Previously, Cliff Martinez had been announced as the composer for Logan, the final Wolverine chapter to star Hugh Jackman. That, however, has changed, with Martinez dropping out almost undetected, and being replaced by Marco Beltrami.
Beltrami has worked with director James Mangold in the past, both on The Wolverine and 3:10 to Yuma. Mangold announced the change on Twitter. With Logan out in just two months, it's unclear how long Beltrami has been at work on the film. Hopefully, it's not a similar case to Michael Giacchino, who had very little time to work on his Rogue One soundtrack, which has been pointed out as lacking a little in comparison to past Star Wars films.
Logan is set to hit theaters on March 3.
