Colin Farrell In Talks To Join "The Beguiled" Remake

rodneyholley Colin Farrell is in talks to star in Sofia Coppola's The Beguiled remake. If a deal is closed, Farrell would join a cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning. Coppola will both write and direct the Civil War-based drama.

Clint Eastwood starred in the original that "followed an injured Yankee soldier (played by Eastwood) who finds refuge at an all-girls boarding school in the South during the Civil War and cons his way into several lonely women’s hearts." Farrell is in talks to play the role that Eastwood played in the original.
