'Constantine' Heading to Blu-Ray and DVD
The Warner Archive is looking to release Constantine on Blu-ray and DVD soon. The news is coming via ads running in the back of this weeks DC Comics releases.
Fans have been eager for a release since he show was cancelled about a year and a half ago. While the release isn't listed online, the ad reads "fantastic TV looks better on Blu-ray — also features The 100, iZombie, and Lucifer. At least The 100 and iZombie's Blu-ray relases through the Warner Archive had been previously announced. It also says "Constantine now on Blu-ray & DVD."
"If that's true, then the fans made that happen," said former Constantine showrunner Daniel Cerone. "I give them all the credit because they've made their voices known and never gave up. I'm continually overwhelmed by the passion out there for this character."
The series was picked up by CW Seed, the streaming sibling to the network, which has also given fans some glimmer of hope that the character will live on.
