Courtney B. Vance Wins Leading Actor Emmy for 'The People v. O.J. Simpson'
Courtney B. Vance has made it three from three for FX's crime drama The People v. O.J. Simpson. Vance joins Sarah Paulson, who won lead actress, with his first Emmy award, taking home the Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie trophy.
The series completed the trifecta with the award for Best Limited Series, and Vance thanks his associates and family members when accepting the award.
Vance won the award up against Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Idris Elba (Luther), Cuba Gooding Jr. (The People v. O.J. Simpson) and Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager).
