Cultjer roundup: 'Wonder Woman' (2017)

GregHarmon GregHarmon Managing Editor Only love can save this world. So I stay. I fight, and I give... for the world I know can be. This is my mission, now. Forever.

While the 20th highest grossing movie of all-time slowly exits the big screen, the time has come to usher in Wonder Woman's arrival on digital streaming services, DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K. If you ask me, this occasion also warrants a release on VHS and Laser Disc just to commemorate Patty Jenkins fine work.

It also bears mentioning that December 13, 2019 will be the next time our fearless heroine makes her solo return. (Sad Face) Consolation? Diana will share a little screen time with fellow DC mates in November 17th's Justice League. So there's that.

"Jenkins & Gadot combine for a portrayal that captures what Wonder Woman has symbolized for the past 76 years"

"Diana is a fierce warrior with a heart of gold, who’s forced to question, challenge and battle the characteristics - good and bad - of mankind, a species she is unfamiliar with. Jenkins and Gadot combine for a portrayal that captures what Wonder Woman has symbolized for the past 76 years: a true role model."

"Patty Jenkins should be so proud of the masterpiece she has created."

"Wonder Woman is the best superhero film I have ever seen- by quite a bit. This film is sophisticated and well made- Patty Jenkins should be so proud of the masterpiece she has created. The narrative is well structured and the action sequences are well executed. Gal Gadot is perfectly cast and does an exceptional job...This is an important film with an important message and I urge you to see it - you won't regret or forget this remarkable cinematic experience."

"From start to finish, Wonder Woman exceeds expectations and hesitations to deliver a blast of a superhero war story."

"All in all, Wonder Woman is the first triumphant outing for Warner Bros' DCEU and it's about time. Being a childhood fan of the DC brand, this feels like a sweet victory. For her theatrical debut, Wonder Woman hits every necessary beat to be a thrilling and entertaining origin story for the Amazon Princess."
