Cumberbatch says Star Wars: Episode VII appearance "won't happen"
For a while it has been rumoured that Benedict Cumberbatch was to take a role in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. But after an interview with an Australian website, it looks as though those rumours appear to be false. Cumberbatch said; "I would've liked a part in JJ's new Star Wars but it won't happen sadly."
Cumberbatch also went on to shoot down any potential appearances in the BBC series Doctor Who too.
