DC Comics TV Brings In $1 Billion in Revenue
Other than being criticized hard at the theaters it's been a good year for DC Entertainment. Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes recently revealed that DC's TV shows brought in more than $1 Billion in revenue. Shows like Gotham, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl lead the charge. Bewkes also confirmed previous DC films will start to appear on TNT and TBS.
Despite bringing in record revenue. The Flash and Arrow took a dip in the ratings. However the Season 2 premiere of Supergirl had the highest ratings for its timeslot in CW's history.
Will DC Entertainment continue their success? It sure seems that way according to their bank account.
