'Deadpool' Director Leaves the Helm for Fox's Smash Hit Sequel
Director Tim Miller has made an abrupt departure from the directing seat on Deadpool 2, in what marks as production's first big roadblock in what has been a seemingly smooth process (particularly compared to the original's rough ride).
Creative differences between Miller and producer and star Ryan Reynolds are reportedly to blame for the exit. The split was, according to Deadline, amicable, but it nevertheless divides the superstar team that took the movie-going world by storm in February.
There's no word on a replacement nor are there any current elaborations on what exactly caused the rift between the two. Miller, meanwhile, turns his attention to another project for Fox, a cyber-thriller adaptation titled Influx.
