Deadpool Headed Toward Third Straight Box Office Weekend Win
Deadpool is tracking for another $30 million weekend, having accumulated $9 million on Friday and easily bullying new release Gods of Egypt away, which earned 4.8.
Triple 9 (2.1) and Eddie the Eagle (1.9) also faired poorly in comparison to the sort-of superhero film. It seems Gods of Egypt has a lot of work ahead of it in terms of profitability, made on a budget of $140 million, it's tracking for just $14 million in its opening weekend.
