Doctor Strange Adds Scott Adkins to Cast
Action and martial arts star Scott Adkins gets a second chance at a Marvel role, this time in the official Marvel Cinematic Universe after the failure that was his role as Deadpool (doubling for Ryan Reynolds) in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The film began shooting last week in Nepal, with unofficial set photos showing off Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor in character.
Adkins' role in the film has not been confirmed, but The Wrap's reports can confirm that he will have multiple action sequences to utilise his skill set.
There is a chance he could be playing a villain, though perhaps a henchman with less of a front and center role. Though he'll certainy be on show for some hand-to-hand action.
The film is out November 4, 2016
