Donnie Yen to Star in Video Game Adaptation 'Sleeping Dogs'
Donnie Yen of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and IP Man fame has been cast in the lead for the upcoming video game adaptation of Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs.
Yen will play an undercover cop in Hong Kong, where the film is set, and he's on a mission to take down a powerful criminal organization. Expect plenty of martial arts and car and boat chases, similarly to in the video game itself.
The open world action-adventure game came out in 2012 for PlayStation, Windows and Xbox 360. In 2014, it was remastered for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A spinoff, titled Triad Wars, was scrapped during development.
